^^ Me too... The Ground Controls coilover sleeves, Eibach springs, Tokico dampers and Flash Pro alone put me in this club. That's not including these two odd giant mutated snail looking things with pulleys sitting in my closet either.

Shoot me a buzz if you need a hand installing some of the parts TC.

Soon to be adding a vittune for my flashpro, so that will add another $150
I'm assuming you have a GD. How do you like the pulleys?

Keep going with your build. It's honestly not that hard to hit 10k.

I think I'm at like 13k right now and I didn't even touch the engine yet. Modding cars is so addicting...

Hahaha.

Yeah i stopped counting the dollars sent. I'll be dropping about $1200-1400 on the new exhaust set-up in the next few days. After that its Cusco strut hats and new springs. Might even do engine mounts. Thats about it for now. Oh yeah at some point this year a nice pair of seats.

$170 for JDM Tails
$100 for Aries Mats.
$0 for Buddy Club shift knob from previous Fit.

And the car is pretty much done. Ms. 410b's car will soon have more in mods than the GE o_O

After posting my update I hopped on kbb.com to estimate what my Fit is worth and was sad to see it was worth only about half of how much I've put into it. There is no way I can ever put it back to stock, so that leaves me with three options: keep it forever, find some schmuck who will buy it for $5000, or total it. I'm leaning more towards the first option.

I'm also lazy and cheap so I don't think I'll be redoing anything that has already been done. Like swapping springs for coilovers or properly mating the same sized exhaust parts so there are no bottlenecks. I may get a body kit from Seibon while they're still having their sale, but I don't want my front lip to jump off and attack a shrub like previc's front lip did. I also have see if the rear lip would clear the Tanabe exhaust tip.

Sounds like its race car time. Cars are a poor investment. You will never get anywhere what you've spent on them. The sad part is they are always worth more stock then fixed up.

I love my fit and now that smog is out of the way for 2 years it will become more of a race car then anything else. This end I will maximize the Fit in SCCA for STF class. The 2016 season I may go boost or K but who knows. I'd love to see what happens. One thing for sure is that I will venture into road racing this year.

Haven't done anything to the Fit in a while. I prob won't either until I graduate from grad school.

In the meantime, I've been picking up random accessories on the side.

JDM HOP stickers

ARC Magic sticker

Another ARC Magic shift knob (free from my friend)

I have a titanium Top Secret badge coming in the mail, along with a TypeOne sticker and a Mugen neck warmer. I swear I'm spending more money on accessories and JDM swag than most people do on their car haha.

JDM is not inexpensive by any means. Parts are looking good.

I just did a quick, rough estimate and to include the car's price...OHHHH WTF, could have purchased a nice NA2 already. Such is the car game when one actually plays it and uses their purchases to their fullest extent; I have no regrets and hope nobody does that doesn't think like some, "it is just a Fit, why?"

I actually got them for $200 and the tires were ~$450 but I mean they retail for $500

Here's the retrofit... Not perfect by any means but hey it was $120

So you haven't really spent $2k. Don't rush yourself to hit that mark (or to claim to hit that mark), $2k goes by very quickly with cars. I could easily spend that on wheels (sans tires) and not feel bad about it for a second.

I really expected that retrofit to look much worse than it does.
