I would go with springs. I have skunk2's and i love them. No complaints so far. Nice racked stance and they dont drop the front too much so its still able to be a dd.

intakes

haha ive come to the conclusion that most of the intakes on the market do nothing personally for ME cuz i dont rev to high ever. but if your a low rever consider the supa suka it gets torque gains in the low rpms or some other kind of chamber intake everything else is like 5 hp at 6k rpms so in closing SPRINGS! FTW!

Intake. The stock suspension and handling are already one of the strongest points of the car and not in immediate need of a workover. You can't say the same for the stock engine power and response, so put you money to better use improving the weakest part of the equation. (Or save up extra and fix both at once! )

you bring up a good point chibuki.

it's true the handling is already pretty decent stock...
and i would like a little extra pull outta the tiny 1.5L.

now i just got more confused as to what i should do. hahaha.

^--- Exactly. Get the springs dude. The 4x4 look is horrid and so is body-roll.

Did you ever figure out what springs your gonna buy? Keep an eye on the thread i linked. They are doing a spring meet/test hopefully tomorrow. Maybe that will help you decide.

haha that's the complete opposite of the way i think but both make perfect sense to me.

the way i see it is to try improve on the car's strengths (suspension/handling) by first changing its springs instead of dilly-dallying with its weaknesses. and it's a plus that springs give the car a more aggressive appearance in the process.

Haha. I did the same thing. Got springs and tweaked the suspension first and then went to an intake and exhaust after. Springs give the car such a better stance and are way more noticable then an intake imo. Springs all the way. Good luck with the skunk2's. I love mine.
