Its possible, but you would need someone to make the spacer to fit. Its not hard to take your wheel off, takes maybe 10mins. take a look at it

Any luck with the photo of the back of the stock steering wheel?
I would like to make a steering wheel spacer to move it closer to the driver. Long legged Fit drivers are in need of an extender.

because teh steering wheel is awkwardly positioned. either move the seat up and touch the wheel, or push the seat back and touch the pedals LOL

if thats an issue to you, you should wait till the 2009 fit comes out and do a retrofit with the telescoping steering wheel.
