Honda Civic remote starter for the Fit?
Can the 07-08 Honda Civic remote starter be installed for use in the Fit?
I found it from this website:
Shophonda365.com - Canada's online source for all things Honda!
If anyone has any info, I'd greatly appreciate it.
Thanks.

its very possible to do it. u just gota know your way around your wiring.
you can make a remote start system from any generic system. Some, even utilizing your stock remotes. (program auto start by pushing unlock 3x under 5secs.)
also, with the stock system, it may be a bit tricky without the service manual's instructions telling u how to disable the immobilizer during auto startup and a pinout diagram. If u can get ahold of such diagram, it should be easily to convert to Fit's specs.
with a generic system, you would be using DEI's 555H/555U's immobilizer disable module. You can find it cheap on ebay.

I am getting ready to put a full Remote Start/ Alarm / Keyless (yes sadly its not just a RS piece) but I know the Fit requires a fairly expensive $70 bypass on the Security system so you don't get into trouble with the Immobilizer.
Keep that in mind and best of luck.
