I can up my deposit to 25% of the total cost of the hood...that's reasonable to me because I really want this done. JDP knows I'm serious...I just bought everything they make for the GE8 can't wait to get to Cali

Be patient...I don't want this to turn out like the GD diffuser that they were discussing. I'm guessing price will be between $400-$500.

I agree with being patient. JDP has been really good to the Fit community and I'd like to continue to support the FitFreak vendors. We all know JDP makes quality shit. He knows we're serious about this, but was pretty clear about waiting for 15 to push this through. This ain't his first rodeo, and I'm sure he's prolly been burnt before by not having enough people to make it worth his time.
I'm certain that we will get 15, hell...it's barely been a week and we've already got 10.
Last thing, let's use this as the list moving forward to reflect the actual number of interest:

Maybe I can have Hayden, Baylor Bro, possibly JCrimsom and myself all get together with dirty cars and drink beer and act stupid while you detail them out for a decent amount of money. Of course I am joking but Hayden has suggested that we get together and said something about a Civic club he is friendly with that may be open to having Fit owners participate in their activities.... What do you think?.... There will more than likely be others that drop out on the hood deal so don't be hard on yourself.... I really wanted the rear diffuser GDP was working on and was saving for my high boost upgrade and knew nothing about him wanting any money up front.... All of the resident assholes started talking trash and insulting the guy and decided we all could take a flying leap.... That hood design is fabulous, leaning more toward cosmetic appeal more so than function but still it is functional to a degree and looks great....

I emailed JDP last week and never heard back. I could see why some of the GD guys got frustrated. I emailed about the possibility of increasing the required deposit since we are short of the required 15. If we don't hear back by the end of this week, maybe we should explore other options?

I don't see anything wrong with exploring other options. You can approach a company and let them know we have basically 10 willing to put down a deposit. If JDP really wants and has time for this project he'll come though. If I can do anything to help, let me know.

This thread is barely a week old!see have a little patience...not everything happens overnight...I for one want JDP to take their time. I want a solid product that wasn't rushed!
