GI: Fit 07-08, 09+ Clazzio Seat Covers

They are a very clean look and not flashy. The few that have seen them
were surprised they were covers, they thought I upgraded to leather
seats.
Install was easy, if you read the directions, I got hung up on a few
things because I did not. I did it over several days, in total less than
2 hours.
They are more comfortable than the current seats (I have the base).
Overall they look good, and will give me the look and feel of leather
without the cost.
I paid just under $500. I am happy with my purchase.
I realize this is about $200-300 more compared to
getting fitted cloth covers, but this is way worth it.

Hi all.. I've gotten several PMs asking what thread color best matches the OEM armrest stitching... So instead of continuing with PMs I thought I'd just state for the record that Jeff has agreed to send me some stitch thread samples so I can carefully find the best match. (or at least to be able to judge how well it matches...)
Keep an eye out on this thread, because as soon as I confirm I will post findings here. Then we can all go ahead and place the custom orders

The custom orders are finally in-hand! I will be sending out tracking numbers this afternoon to the 5 very patient custom order holders  Thanks again!
I will update the thread with remaining Custom stock, and any new stock that arrived.

Pics of Clazzio leather vs interior 09 Fit colors
Jeff was kind enough to send me some leather samples for the Clazzio covers. I went ahead and took several pictures of the leather samples against the various interior colors of 2009 Fit Sport. There are 3 materials (PVC, Perf Leather, and Suede), as well as 2 colors (Black and Grey). Tested against: Black OEM armrest leather top, Grey dash panels, and Black door panels.
I took pictures of all of these in plain sun, shade, and also some with flash. This should give everyone a very good idea of what to expect in terms of color match. Please note that photography isn't an exact representation of reality, so use this as a guide only.
My opinion? The Black PVC and Black Perf Leather are a very good match with the OEM armrest leather color, as well as against the black door panels. Also the Grey PVC and Grey Perf Leather are a good match with grey dashboard trim.
On the other hand, the black suede is the darkest of the three materials, and in direct comparison did not seem to be a good match to the interior colors... but if you're looking for the darkest possible color, the suede will give you that. That's just my opinion, YMMV!
Please look at the descriptions which are self explanatory...
Some samples embedded, the rest in Photobucket!

All PVC Versus Leather Centers
For those that know, why should I spend $150 more for the covers with the leather centers instead of PVC centers? Is it a status thing, or are the leather centers softer or more durable? Are there pros or cons to the perforated leather?
Also, I've scrolled through this thread looking for pictures of seats with the "All PVC" covers, but I don't believe there are any. If anyone here has purchased the "All PVC" seats, please post some pictures.
Thanks...

For those who have performed the installation of these covers, did you do the installation with the seats in the car? Would it be easier with the seats out of the car? Should the installation be done, or would it be easier if the covers are warm?
Thanks for the information.

I will upload a few comparison shots of Leather vs PVC over the next few days.

Here is my experience.
Liked what I saw on this thread so I ordered a set (Black PVC outer, Black Leather inner, Blue Stitching) for my 2009 White Sport AT. I didn't want to wait 8-10 weeks for a custom order but I really wanted the blue stitching so I went ahead and made a custom order.
Monday, Aug 10th: Custom order via the Resetmotorsports website
Tuesday, Aug 11th: Email saying their custom order was due anytime (in customs)
Saturday, Aug 15th: Email stating that my order had been shipped.
Friday, Aug 21st: UPS package arrived at 1:30pm
Friday, Aug 21st: Installation complete at 4:00pm
I was extremely fortunate that their custom order had the exact set of covers I was looking for so I did not have to wait long. Now that they are installed here are my thoughts:
- Like them very much and would do it again in a heartbeat
- Although not really flashy they do look very professional
- The black matched the car's interior well
- Obviously can't speak for their durability but they look nice and fit well
- Installation took my wife and I about 2 hours, having two of us and 4 hands helped
- Installation was relatively easy, though the front headrests covers were the hardest
- Really like the blue stitching, matches my leather/blue stitched gearshift
- Should be so much easier to care for than the OEM cloth lint magnets
- No flaws/defects that we could find
- In summary, very satisfied and happy so far!
Thanks for this forum and all who post their experiences. It has really helped me, although it has also thinned out my wallet. I just got my Fit on Jul 29th. So far I have done Cardinal's DIY $30 Cargo Liner, Justintime's $8 grill mesh solution, a leather blue stitched gearshift, tinted windows (50/35), weathertech all-season floorliners, and now Clazzio seats. One thing regarding the floorliners. I like the way they fit but didn't like the feel of a "rubber" floor so I bought another rubber backed floor mat from Lowes (the same kind as I used for the cargo liner) and cut pieces to fit in the Weathertech floorliner. Carpet now looks uniform throughout the car and I have the carpet feel beneath my feet. Now --- off to another website to buy an Accord horn!
