Best tires for Florida roads/weather

Looking to replace OEM Dunlops on 07 Base Fit.

This is a daily driver, 70k, I95 Miami M-F.

I bought cheap tires and they were too loud and didn't last long obviously.

Looking at Kumho eco Solus HM KR22

what tires do you guys have? How is it in rain, highway noise?

I am a bit late, but I really like the Yokohoma S-Drives. They are summer tires and are quiet and grippy.

Bit of an old topic but I will be buying new tires soon, right now I am between the Continental ExtremeContact DW and the Yokohama S-drives in 205/50/16 size. My main concern is road noise, its a hard choice as they both seem to have good reviews on that aspect.

Anyone had both care to chime in?

I realize this is an older thread, but any other Florida Fit owners want to chime in on the tires they'd suggest? I'm looking into rim/tires now. TIA.

Whatever you get...get summer tires because of the rain in FL. Second best would be all year tires.

I'll definitely do that. I know how the rain is here. There seems to be plenty of tires (looking at the 205/50/16) with decent ratings and positive reviews. Just wanted to see if any locals had more real world experience. Looking for something good in the rain, quiet, and looks good.
