I used the old 615s for years, and they were alright, decent grip, got a little greasy on track after a few laps, but for the price good bang for the buck. I know the new ones have a better compound, so that's good.

The one problem I had with them was they were TERRIBLE in the rain, and as far as I know, the tread pattern on the K's is similar to the old ones, so I wouldn't expect them to have improved much there.

I'll probably be getting the K's for autocross wheels, so i'd also like to hear other's opinions on them.

What were your gripes with the Kumho's.
I don't have any experience on them, but about to pull the trigger on a set of Kumho 4x's for 15' wheel set.

don't mean to derail the thread.

Gotta check out that sale on discount tire... it ends today.

issues with sidewalls, they easily bulge. but then again, this was when I was still in NY and most road conditions are very undesirable. you should be good if you have well maintained road in your city/state.

*EDIT* I see you're from NYC... my work was a daily drive from Brooklyn to Bronx and back :/

Bulge as in sidewall bubbles?
If so I had the same issues with the crappy OEM Bridgestones, the damn tires kept getting sidewall bulges.

Yeah, unfortunately Queens-Bx-Bkln, & occasionally Manhattan are my main driving areas. So you know the war zone (pot holes).

The Falkens are going on your new BBS's?
