Hi everyone,

I am new and need a bit of help. I had posted to the tuning threads to find out about intake and exhaust mods. I know what I am going to do on that. I was thinking about changing the stock wheels (14") of my US spec fit, but wanted to get lighter wheels and tires to save weight.

Does anyone know what the stock wheels weight?

I am interested too! I'll find out when I rotate my tires at 6000 miles otherwise.

 

When I traded my base Fit stock wheels, I weighed one "by difference" on my bathroom scale-- came in at 15 to 16 lb with the wheel cover on. I went with Borbet CA wheels, which were not much lighter, but are quite sturdy & look good to me.

For a very lightweight 14'' alloy, try the Kosei TS (9.3 lb) at tirerack.com --but be careful of potholes because gravity-cast wheels can't be too sturdy at that weight.

 

Thank you Bill, I will look into something lighter. I found some SSR's on tire rack which weigh only 9 lbs, but they are really expensive.
