Tire advice please!
Hey, I'm looking to replace the tires on my '09 Fit. It's my first time replacing them since I got the car and I have been kind of pushing it off. Now I have 2 extremely balled front tires and the back ones are getting there as well. Online I'm getting discrepancies in size. Anyone have any advice on what tire size would be best and fit the stock rims?
Thanks so much. I'm really confused...

Is your Fit a base or sport trim?
The base uses 15" steel wheels while the sport has 16" alloy wheels.
I'm not sure how common stock base tire size is, but I can tell you, stock sport size is NOT common, so it is usually easier to find one size up (stock sport is 185/55/16, can try 195/50/16 or 205/50/16). Wider tires allows for more road grip, but that same grip usually ends up reducing MPG.
In any case, first order of business... do you plan on keeping your current wheels? If so, do you have a base or sport?
Once those questions are answered then you have to decide if you want to stick to stock sizes. You can, but they are harder to find.

More choices await you going to the 205/50/16's, something Honda recommends if you buy their Mugen wheels. Although the Mugen wheels are .5" wider, you'll be ok running that size on your stock rims. I see your in FLA and depending on how much you drive, I suggest either the Continental DW or the DWS, also depends on what you want out of your Fit

I have the Sport model. Sorry I left that detail out. I plan on sticking with stock rims at least for another tire life. I'm looking for something not on the pricey side, but not cheap either. Not really into performance, just like the look and to cruise
