Effect of different offset on handling?

Effect of different offset on handling?
Not really a car guy... trying to get some answers
Have had the Fit for a while now, but decided this year to get a new set of rims for my winter tires rather than swapping the tires off my 07 Fit Sport rims every winter (both my snows and OEM all-seasons are 195/55R15 I believe)
I ordered tire rack suggested 15x6.5 rims that would fit my existing tires, not realizing the OEM rims had a 55 mm offset and the new rims a 40 mm offset.
I expect the fact it's a suggested rim from the wizard means it would work, but what should I expect in terms of rubbing and handling?

No rubbing, wider track that if anything will make the car more stable, if you can notice the difference at all; weight in this particular case would make a bigger difference than the 30mm (little over an inch) overall wider stance, IMHO

^ Ditto.
No rubbing at factory hieght with a 195/55R15, even with a heavy load in the car, and like previously stated the wider track will make the car more stable during cornering. If the wheels are lighter or heavier, you'll notice a slight difference (depends on wheel weight) in acceleration and braking.
