Wheel Spacers

Ok so Im currently running on 17x7 +40 wrapped in 205/40/17's

I poke about a half inch in the front and want to bring the back out a tad but not too much because i load a crapload in there sometimes and i dont feel like dealing with rubbing.

SOO

i want to get spacers prob 10mm, im already getting extended lugs(45's) to deal with this for the rear but my question is what are the best spacers to get for the price. Ive seen them from 30-100 on ebay and i have no clue...

Do i get the universal or hub centric, and if the hub centric, what is the measurement for the ge8?

I could really use the help! thanks guys!!

PS... what size spacer will give me the same amount of poke if i do want them to match... +40 is my offset and the front is abouttt 1/2"
I dont mind getting the spacers with the lugs in them if thats required for this.

I say stay away from the ebay garbage cause you get what you pay for.
I would stay with H&R or Ichiban. Hubcentric or not is up to you but it can get hard at time to get hubcentric spacers when you run thinner one.
Hub for the GD is 56.15 mm so double check if the GE is the same.
25mm is an inch so if you can go with 10mm for a little less then half inch or 15mm for a little more. They tend to come in increments of 5mm.
People run the bolt on spacers cause they would like to retain the oem wheel studs(which most people only recommend running a max 5mm spacer on). If you're getting the extended studs then you can run the thicker spacers and not have to resort to the bolt on type.

ok i just measure it out because i wanted to be sure.

its more like a 1/4" i have in front so i guess a 25 would be perfect for the rear which is 3/4" in from the fender.

i am just worried at 1" extra is dangerous, or if its a good brand is it ok?

Also i drive kind of rough on my car if that matters with these.

If you go that thick make sure the extended wheel studs are long enough. Usually when I see someone run spacers that thick they get the bolt on type that bolt to the oem studs and come with it own studs for the wheels.

Yeah pics would be awesome!

I think im going to have to get extended lugs and spacers that arent bolt on. what length stud do i need to replace the stock ones with if i want to put on a 20mm spacer?

The reason for this is i have 4lug uni rims so there is no space where there needs to be for the extra length of the stock stud that isnt going through the rim :/

hmm, are u selling those? and how much do the stock lugs poke out after you bolt it on?

taFITta_sport: i was reffering to the stock lugs poking out after you bolt it on, i know that the have another 4 already in them but im worried about the poke of the stock lugs past the spacer.

with those spacers, the lug still protrudes, but with my spacers, the lugs are flush with the plate so you can run any kind of rim you want

no that was just the picture without the nuts installed all the way on the stock ones. it sits really flush on the spacers. my wife was taking the pictures of them on her phone but then she left and we didnt have n e more pictures of them installed properly.

For the bolt on spacers if you go with something 25mm or more thick then the oem studs will not stick out. Anything less then 25mm them the spacers will be to thin and the oem studs will stick out. Depending on how much they stick out and you have pocket areas on the back of your rims then you can get away with it.

Here's a pic of one of my custom made spacer in 25mm thickness. Bolts are flush with the spacer.
