Best cost effective light 14" rims

Hi all,
sadly in Italy, thanks to both law and Honda Italia, I can only use 14" rims.

I'd like to exchange my actual OZ Racing F1 for lighter rims.

I've seen:
Volk CE28N Forged 14x5.5 6.5
Volk TE37 Forged 14x5.5 8.5
Enkei ES-Tarmac Cast 14x6 8.7
Wed's TC-005 Forged 14x6 8.8
Advan Racing-RG Cast 14x6 8.9
Kid's Racing Cast 14x6 9.7
Kosei K1-TS Cast 14x6 9.8

Volks are the lightest but quite expensive, too. So I'd look for something else, preferably from this list. Do you know which vendor would be willing to ship overseas 14" rims?

TIA

Why does the law specify only 14" rims?

yeah there has to be more to the story...wheels size restrictions? Does that go for tires as well?

Here we are not free in choosing rims or tyres sizes. Obly possible sizes are written on the card onboard. Measures are written by Honda Italia and no hope to have the permission for different sizes, unless you have a car bought abroad and registered afterwards (sadly not my case).

Law doesn't make it easy, and Honda Italia is really a pain in the back. So, that's the reason why I'm looking for light, better 14" rims for - don't laugh at me - 175/65...

Did you end up getting new wheels?

Why would you want anything larger than 14" with the 1.2 liter engine? I would want 13s in that situation.

I would guess that wheel sizes are restricted so that mileage readouts are accurate insuring the odometer is correct. That's the only thing I can think of.

Not pulled over, but part of an inspection issue really. Billed for liability of "not orginal" parts. Per a friend that was a car importer in the grey market days, Belguim had much of the same in the 1980s, could not use aftermarket parts for wheels, brakes, suspension, steering, etc.

geez, where's all this italy hate coming from?

i think you need to find a company in italy that will import whatever wheel you're looking to buy, not a wheel manufacturer that exports to italy.

I would like to bump this thread to get more discussion on light 14" rims going

I know the RPF-1 is available in a 14x7, but that this doesn't fit the fit stock because the centre bore size is too small on the wheel. In a different thread, mike410b made this comment... "The center bore of the Enkeis is 56.1 or 54.1 vs. 57.1 which is the center bore of your Fit...you get if machined out..."

Does anyone know if anyone has actually done this, and runs the 14x7 RPF1 on their GD fit yet?

Or does anyone else know of any 14x7 that definitely fit? 14x6 is nice but I think 14x7 would be more practical as you could more easily run a wider selection of tires.
