I just slapped the wheels and tires on my car yesterday.
I also weighed the wheels and tires to see the difference for myself:
- Stock 15" wheels and Stock Dunlops - 35lbs each
- SSR 16"s wheels with Kumho Tires - 30lbs each

SSR Comps are nice wheels, but be careful if you use them a lot for street driving. I've heard of people cracking or bending them after a lot of street use. Other people have had no problems, but the general consensus is that they're more of a competition wheel (hence the name) that sacrifices some strength for low weight.

Thanks for the heads up, so far the wheels have help up against the worst NY City has to offer so hopefully what you've heard is wrong.
I'll post if anything bad should happen to my set but I don't go looking to dive into potholes if I can avoid it!
