so i didnt want to run my stock 09 sport rims and changed them with my gd3 sport rims left behind from my gd3..rip..

i dunno if they are ruined or able to be fixed..

on the surface 3 out of 4 look like they have HARD bird shit stuck to them..
is this fixable it wass kinda dark when i swapped over so i didnt bother to scratch it off or anything but just a lil wipe down.

they were stored away in garbage bags in the winter time last year

im gonna take a picture tomorrow and see whats up

whats the best way to store tires in a vvery very small garage, i think i can only stack them up but dont really have room for sideways. i dont want my beautiful ge8 sport rims ruined too..

 

As long as whatever it is hasn't eaten through the transparent coating to the aluminum, it should be removable, although the coating could be stained. Try soaking in hot water and dish soap for 24 hours. Cat urine (males spray to mark territory) can be extremely corrosive, which argues against storage on the floor.

Small garage, why not hang them from hooks high on the wall? You should be able to find vinyl coated bicycle hangers at a hardware store. For future storage, fresh wax or spray with WD-40 before storing.

 

yeap they are officially my beater/winter rims.. i mean you cant see it from afar but they are ruined for sure..
the metal has grown in some areas and they are no longer pretty =(
