205/50/15 on stock GD3

Anyone here have this set up?? Using 205/50/15 specs on the stock GD3 wheels. I'm only asking because i have a set of tires on some other rims i have and im going back to stock wheels and i dont want to lose such great tires since they are new.

yep i think ull be fine, these are the sizes u can run on stock rims 185/55-15, 195/50-15, 205/50-15, now since u got the last of the three offsets then ull be fine, actually ull be better than fine, i cant wait til my tires wear down so i can get a set of wider tires.

205's killed my gas mileage

I've put 205/50/15's on mine, and it's really degraded my gas mileage. I was getting about 360-380 miles on a tank, and now i'm lucky to get 330. Kinda bummed about it.

Could this perceived decrease be partially due to the change in actual miles traveled/vs what my odometer is reading?

hahahaha same here but with my setup with the new wheels its not enough to want to change plus wat a difference in handling, i mean the car gets good gas mileage already so wat u lose a gallon every tank but ive learned to drive slower and only stomp on it when i need to.

It can be a trade off with wider tires. If you go wider tires get lgihter wheels. Stock tires go with heavier wheels. Try to always stick with the same weight as the stock tire/wheel combo.
