GD3 Sport wheel myth

At my last Autox event, some guy with an EP3 wanted to trade my stock Sport wheels for his stock EP3 wheels. I said no. I hate EP3 wheels. they are ugly. But more interesting is that he said GD3 15" sport wheels are the lightest 15" 4x100 stock wheel by honda. Is this true?

Ooh, ooh, I know...

I took a scale to America's Tire when I had my tires changed. I weighed all four wheels and found that they averaged 17.1 lbs each.

Most Japanese manufacturer and some US manufactured cars are made by Enkei. There's a plant here in Jacksonville, FL that builds the Toyota stuff......

Honda's lightest 4x100 15 incher . . . I suppose it's possible, I can't think offhand of one that's lighter. But not super impressive - like others have stated, they're 17 or 18 pounds each.

I thought the LS meshies were I used to work at a tire shop back in the day and i picked up a dismounted wheel off of the tire machine thinking it was going to be alot heavyer and dam near lost my balance, I used a LiL to much strengh. I dont know exactly how much they weight but it seemed really light. I would say VX wheels but I dont think they are 15" either?
