can you tell me?...
how low i can go with offset if i buy some new wheels
i'm lowered on 40mm apex springs
gonna go for some 15 inch wheels, with almost definately 195/45 tyres
what is the minimum offset i would be looking at with my set up without causing rub?
would like to go to about et25 maybe slightly less, will it rub?

195/45x15 tires are tiny, only 21.9" diameter compared to typical Fit tires around 23.5". lowering say 1.2" (30.5 mm) means you can likely go with a 40 mm offset wheel but no lower.
If you decide on a more stock diameter like 205/50x15you probalby will need at least 45 mm with the lowered springs. Any lowering more than 31 mm you're on your own. All this by the way on a maximum rim width of 7".

ok cheers
im just curious as to how low i can go on the offset really
love the look of wide and low fits/jazzs, and want mine to look that way
i swear i read somewhere before that if your lowered on springs you can go to et35 and not worry about rubbing, depending on tyres
i just wanted to know if you can go any lower with the offset to get that 'poke' look

If you want a nice stance, youll need to do work.
My 14's are +26mm, they rub. Before them I had 15's with +26mm. All the rubbing is out back as my 1/4's arent pulled. Theyre just rolled. My front fenders are pulled so I get minimal to no rubbing up front.
On my old springs I ran 15's with a +13mm offset. This was before my front fenders were pulled. Of course it rubbed.
It all depends on the wheel width and offset combo to determine a poked look.
There really isnt a guaranteed answer as no one really runs low offset or wide wheels. Its trial and error.
I will say this though, theres no way to have poke with no rubbing. It just doesnt happen.

alot of competition over here between jap and euro styling, and me like some people like to cross over between the two, and have elements from both scenes.
i just want a low enough offset so that the wheels sit pretty much flush with the arches, if you get me
im only down 40mm, and there still looks like a good 20-30mm before im touching tyre on the standard wheels, despite the amount of tuck they give
if you happen to know the offset on the standard wheels that would help out alot!
