Hello, does any one have the HFP wheels on their Fit?
What PSI do you have for the tires. I set it at 51 PSI according to the tires. But it pick up alot of road noise. But supposely if you set it according to the tires, you save gas right? Thank you to any one that reply.

 

Whoa, you're supposed to follow the psi numbers on the chassis sticker on your door jamb when you open it and not the max psi on the tire.

 

Now, wouldn't that be for stock spec. If you were to follow the chassis sticker?

 

dude...most id put it at is 40 since they are a low pro tire....ull destroy the tires at that psi

 

i have them i run 30psi

 

i have the HFP wheels with Falken ZE-912 205/45/16 and i have them at 35 PSI i think.

 

I bet the car handles nicely. Harsh but nice. I would be interested in your new impressions once you have let out 20 PSI.

51lbs of tire pressure now, so I bet a really hot afternoon in the summer will be interesting. You ought to take a drive to Las Vegas in July, see if the tire sensors are working right. Remember, the ditch is to the right and steer into a skid, not away.

 

The 51 lbs listed on the tire is the maximum inflation pressure. In other words the most you can put in and the tire mfg will guarantee they won't go KABOOM! You want a lot less than that.

Like the previous poster said, start with what's printed on the door jamb and then tinker over time with small adjustments up or down.

 

I run 32PSI on mines. 51PSI is kind of crazy man lol I ran 40PSI and i couldnt stand it plus the handling seem a bit off for me to drive with.

EDIT: Someone correct me if I'm wrong. If you had a really high or really low PSI wouldn't that mess with your tires tread wear??
