That valid statement comes from 50 years designing and testing tires, including racing, and are accurate as any tire engineer will tell you.

Where did you get your 'ideas' from?

PS I did leave out a couple of significant attributes: the vehicle suspension and weight distribution.
The point is that setting tire pressures is not a little easy set of 'rules'; it is a very complicated one that depends on a wide set of variable conditions.
