the larger the wheel is the larger the tire will be, you can change it buy getting a lower profile tire but it wont really matter unless you go larger than the overall diameter of what the factory specifies, plus you will loose some of the space you have to work with buy lowering the car plus, the amount of travel the suspension has to. witch is why some roll, pull fenders, trim linings and tabs, but the whole point is if you want to run a wheel thats larger than average, or larger than what people are runnig then you will have to do some work to get them to fit, instead of waiting for someone else to tell you what will work

Just so it's clear, a 205/40x17 tire is 23.45" in diameter and a 205/60x15 is 24.68" in diameter so the larger the wheel does not mean the tire is larger. Only the tire size matters. And offset:
And you have to consider where the tire is located in reference to the hub face. Move it too far in or out and chances of getting interference is increased just as using a bigger tire. Hence offset matters too.

I don't care about the weight of the rims. You can make basically anything fit if you're willing to make it fit.. I'm waiting on a quote for some 10 inch wide wheels.

Can't wait to see them. Are you getting the Profound or Profound II's?

+1 for being willing to make them fit. Everyone told me 18x8 +32 wouldn't fit, but I made it work.

That was my hole point I can calculate tire sizes and all that hell I could just go the the rim shop and physically measure the tire size I want to use against what I have with a tape measure. but will It get the wheels I want to run to fit right ??????? NO. And since I work at a body shop I could just put in the work and time to get some low offset wheels to work when nobody else says they can which to me is the fun in modifying your car

I know I never said it didnt, but my point is with a little work reaseach and money you could do anything I remember being in high school in the early 90,s when nobody was into the importscene, that there was no way to get a fwd car to go fast and you cant do this and you cant do that, and I know all those people feel stupid and the ones who didnt bought imports. Plus I said this before the fit is not a high dollar car in the first place so try out some new thing and if you break something it wont be that expensive to repare or if getting the wheels you want to work isnt happening then just sell them if they got a deep lip on them somebody will get em off your hands

^^AMEN

Everyone said my 15x7 +13 wouldn't fit...They fit with rare riubbing and only camber bolts up front. I still need to lower the car some more, but I am pretty darn low.

18" can def go on there, but sometimes mods are needed. they are listed as agressive fitments and sometimes the fender lips need to be rolled
