TPMS Compatible aftermarket wheels
Hey Fitfreaks,
Are all aftermarket wheels compatible with TPMS? Does any one had installed aftermarket wheels with out the sensor? And if so doesn't the sensor light stay on at all time? Thanks

Tire Pressure Monitoring System.
The sensor has fit into any wheel that everyone has tried. I don't know of a member that has found a wheel that the sensor will not fit into.
If you leave the sensor out, the TPMS light will be illuminated on the dash. Some have gone days without it just to have it eventually appear. There is a thread on here for taking the gauge pack out and taping over the light from the backside so that it doesn't light through the cluster.

The reason I ask is that I bought a set of wheels from razewheels.com.
The R51 series 8 spokes. Now on there website it said "TPMS compatible 10 spokes" So meaning the rest are not compatile. So what is your take on that? Actually I bought the wheels from the ar dealership. And thy told me the only way to resolve the problem is to modify the wheels to have the sensor put on.
