OEM color my shoes!

hi i was wondering if anybody on the forums decided to paint their rims... or watever u call it.... i have a friend that does a pretty nice job.. but i want to see how itll look some of the fits before i go through with it.. i drive an 08 honda fit sport... and am planning to want to color it gunmetal.. and drop my car.. i wonder how it will look.. can someone direct me to a link or thread that has this topic or has pictures?... ty (used search... failed..)

Just do it. Theres a few people that have painted OEM wheels. White, black, gold, not so sure about gunmetal...

The black wheels with the red accent belong to a member named Fitcapo.

It's a fairly easy task to do if you're somewhat familiar with paint and all the steps involved. It can easily be done in a day with the spare tire and the jackstand, however I'd let them sit for another day before driving the car. I jacked up one side and put the spare on, then dropped it and jacked up another corner and left it up so I had 2 wheels to work with. I then let those dry to the touch and remounted them, then did the same on the other side. After that the car didn't move for 2 days.
