Rubbing 205/50/15 +38 offsets

I got my Maxxim Airs today 15x6.5 with +38 offsets 205/50/15. I've read this combo will slightly scape the fender to bumper tab above the rear tire and it does. I had to try, well, I guess out comes the dremmel tomorrow.

There is a tab that holds the bumper to rear quarter panel that just scraps the outer edge of the tire about 5mm beyond the treads. I went to costco loaded the car with stuff and started rubbing exiting the drive way and on dips on the highway. It is only minor rub but that tab is kind of sharp so it made a small groove.

I think if the treads on the tire is a little more squared on the edge it wouldn't have rubbed.

Ray, I'm not complaining I'm just confirming this combo rubs.
