anything lighter? Enkie RPF1 15 inch

Hey I have been searching for new rims and it looks like the Enkie RPF1 in 15 inch will fit without any problems. I have a shop that a get good deals at mostly cause I spent a little much on my FD so I am looking about $90 canadian a rim

My question is at 9.5 LBS a rim is there anything lighter out there I can get? priced under 250 a rim preferable

$90 a rim? you sure about that? for real enkei RPF-1s? If so, that is a ridiculous price, and it is way below cost. I have the Enkei RPF-1s in 15" +41mm offset. They do fit, but you will rub a little if you are lowered.

Only other rims out there that may be a bit lighter are Volk TE-37s, Volk CE-28Ns, and maybe some SSR or Advan wheels. But I can't see them selling for much less than 250/wheel, and you wouldn't save much more weight.

The only lighter wheel that comes to mind is the volk re30 but it is much more expensive. And, boooooooooooo fake rpf1s, get the real deal.

Volk Racing Wheels

There is a link to the re30s they are 8.6lbs in 15" size.

I know, spendy. That's why I got rpf1s for my ride I couldn't justify spending that kind of money on re30s.

Agreed, 90$ is a crazy good price. Sounds too good to be true. For 90$ and a focus for lightweight rims you are probably looking for something like Konig Heliums.

desmond regamaster and spoon wheels come to mind. both 15x6.5 8.6 lbs.(desmond makes them for spoon) but there definitly not cheap $300+ per wheel. the knock off rfp1 (aka drag dr21) weighs in at 12.9lbs not super light but for a 1/3rd of the price i'll rock them. konig daylite are also very light for the price. 10.8 lbs if I remember correctly and under $100 a wheel. they also come in a variety of flavors. green, orange, black with yellow stripe, gold, ect....

They're definitely not real @ $90 each, either that or they're not new. I work for Discount Tire and that's less than our special employee pricing with Enkei.......

I agree...the best wheels....VOLKS re30 or CNE's....around 375 ish.....kingmotorsports has em.....around 8 pounds a wheel. Plus spending this kinda money you really will not have to worry about bending it! Extremely strong.....and of course "Made in Japan".

That's 12.8 pounds with the center cap on. This RE30 is 16x7 100-4 with a +42offset & I can wait to get back home from Japan to Put these badboys on. If you get the 15's, it would definitely be lighter than these 16's.

The Enkei 15x7 is 9.5# and USD200; the SSR 15x6 is 8.8# at USD297. Your choice based on tire you use and purpose.
Try DiscountTireDirect.com for less costly but a little heavier wheel.

I got mine for ~$165 (usd) each, just look around. I really like them, 9.5 lbs.

Also I got the new Konig 15" center caps (cheap plastic) but they don't quite fit, and the new style raises the Konig logo -- meaning I can't paint them to hide the logo. No success yet. =|
