15" wheels stock height

I live in the midwest and the roads here are awful. Think cobblestone ;-)

I am looking for a cool 15" wheel to make the little silver car look a little better. I know that some wheels that are dark or busy make the gap look worse and that if the offset is nearer the lip of the fender the gap looks better.

Does any one have a suggestion?

Thanks!

You are correct that dark wheels make the Fit look like it had no wheels and that lesser offsets make the gap appear less. But you need more than 15" wheel.
Any Fit acceptable wheel with 42 mm offset and stock ride height does improve the apparent gap but the best is a 17" wheel with 205/40x17 tires. If you drop the suspension you will need to increase offset to 45 mm. A bright 17" wheel almost makes the gap disappear. A 195 width is almost as good.

wow! thank you for smart, well thought out reply!

If you were limited to 15" would you just go with a bright 42mm offset?
