Rub...anyone using Tein S.tech with 16"?

I just put on the buddyclub SF 16" rims today with 205/45/16 tires..

and I lowered the car with Tein S.tech.

After the setup, I can barely put one finger between the tire and the fender..

It rubs at the front when there is a little dip..
also the rear rubs when there is a person sitting and on a little dip..

Is there anyway to solve that problem?
should I go if another tire? or roll the fender?

If I roll the fender, is there any problem with the protection of the car?

Thanks!

ok. search.

for the front, you can do the fender liner trick. that should solve most of teh rubbing.

what is teh offset of teh wheels?

i've got got a set of enkei evo wheels with 42mm offset. and a 205/40/17 tire with tanabe gf210 springs and i get a little rub in the front. but i might try the old fender liner trick but i really can't tell where there rubbin yet. i'll have to let it rub and check in the fender well.

actually i use to run that set up, i think its either your tires or the fender lining.

first try the lining trick, then just deal with it till you get new tires.

i never rubbed. but for some reason, my car gets lucky with all my wheel set ups and does not rub. maybe im just getting lucky with my tire choices.

on the 16" rim i was running bfg sports no problem
15" running hankook k106 no problems
17" running sumitomos hrs no problems.

we basically take off your wheel. PUSh up on the fender lining till it tucked itself in...(you will feel it give a good pop) and make sure you take off the clips before you start to push.

i didnt do it, but it made it a bit harder to shove it up. and bend you clips back. i think you rubbing on your clips that are holding your fender lining on your fender.

alexfree05 I going to be running the exact wheel & tire setup. I already ordered a set of 5Zigen 16X7 +42mm offset wheels and will be running w/205-45-16's also. I'm curious though, how much did you lower your Fit. It looks great!
