Best aftermarket lugs?

^when it comes down to it, a lug nut is a lug nut. chances are the person who had the misfortune of a ebay "no-name" lug falling off, bought the cheap lugs off ebay because they dont care about quality/looks, then installed them wihtout caring about quality, and didnt tighten them up all the way.
ont the contrary, a person who buys the kics/rays/work lugs obviously knows what they are doing otherwise they wouldnt spend $100+ on lugs...therefor when they install them, they wont fall off.
a lug is like any nut that you can buy at the hardware store...just different shaped. would you ever blame the cost of a regular nut for falling off?no....its beacuse it wasnt tightened.

I agree ive known many people to use ebay lugs with no issues. The only reason a ebay lug would be bad is if the threads did not hold up and the metal quality is inferior which hasnt been proven to me as many of them are forged aluminum like all the high dollar lugs

Well, a friend of mine bought Ebay lugs. They were aluminum ones in black. Looked identical to T1R's.
They kept loosening. Everyday after driving at least 2 wheels had 3-4 loose lugs. We tightened the hell out of them and ended up stripping the lugs.

I use short, open-ended Muteki lugs and they have been very good at withstanding track abuse and they stay well tightened. And being the short ones and their need for the tool to remove them gives them a good level of security.
