Sneaky Peak; New Wheels.

So, since my new wheels will be on by next week Id figure Id let you all see how they currently look.
Wheels are 15x6in US Integra Type-R wheels. Championship White baby.
Also picked them up with JDM Honda center caps. Im not normally a center cap guy but these wheels look really average with no centers.
The day I got them, all the way from Cali.

Filled in the pits and scars. Wheels are smooth now.

Worse wheel.

Wheels are just waiting for paint. Then tires.
Ordered another set of adapters. 4x100 to 5x114.3. Anytime I told people Im putting Arrr wheels on my Fit they always asked if it was the 4x114 set. I really wish I would have got those instead. Would have saved on adapters and theyre lighter.

Quick pic I took from the Lollicup meet last Sunday.
Such a simple wheel but theyre so sexy. Well, to me.

Im buying adapters guys.... Its as simple as bolting them up to the stock hub.
Good thing about the TypeR wheels is that theyre +50mm factory. With the adapters theyre still going to be around +25mm. Offset will still be nice but not extreme.

Id love to really go 5lug. Maybe later on.

Of course it won't stick out as much as in the picture because of the narrower rim and higher offset.

wow. and when i thought i heard it all from you ray....now itr wheels?

nice choice. i agree i think they are gonna look HARD. now your gonna be the only 5 lug wheel whore here.

now your options are almost unlimited, because it is now easier to find 5x114.3 wheels then it is 4x100. well the rare ones at least.

best wheels on ur car imo

they look really nice. You're messing my mind up wit those adapters..ive seen lots of 16 inchers 5 lugs that ive wished i couldve fit in to my car without many modifications. i think they are my solution

Dang... didnt think these wheels would be this hotsauce. I should paint them right away huhh?
Thanks guys for the comments/compliments. Yes 5lug wheels are easier to find but you have to remember 4lug to 5lug adapters are normally (always) 2 piece. That means theyre thicker. My 4x100 to 4x108 adapters are 3/4in. Which is the thinnest Ive seen. I also had to grind down my OEM wheel studs.

The new ones are going to be 1 5/16th'' thick. So buying other 5lug wheels would leave me searching for higher offsets to reduce the overall LOW offset when adding the adapter thickness to the wheel OEM offset.
(wooh, mouthful)
Wheels will be kept authentic. Championship White theyre staying.

Do you have to cut the stock stud for the 5x114 adapters?
