i didnt even know you can stretch a tire that far especially on a 40 sidewall.

I mean just thinking about it 195's are usually used on 6 or 6.5" width rims. Now your extending that to a 9" width so at least 2.5" stretch with a smaller and usual sidewall on a 195, typically like 45, 50, 55. I hope it works out for you but thats gonna be one hell of a harsh ride if it works. ur probably gonna be riding on like 1" of tire difference between the rim and road, if that.

EDIT: Ok maybe itll be a little more than an inch but its still scary as eff, id never do it.

Heres an example of a 16x9 with 195/40

I've had 185/55 on a 9.5 and it held pretty good on a 6 hour ride to Virginia and back

so then go for it im going to do 165/45r15 on mine and mine are 15x8

hell yeah bro im going to but got to wait for the funds i found them for $46 each on Discount Tires, Custom Wheels, Rims, Goodyear, Michelin, Cooper Tires they have really good prices on there. but its going to look crazy sick now that i have -3 degrees camber on the rear!!

btw cant wait to see how your car looks like with those wheels on it!!

Just went thru all 48 pages in 2 days. Everyone has some sweet looking rims. I hope to get my rims in the next couple weeks. Still deciding what a couple of them.
