18' wheels

ok...ive dug through all the wheel posts and Ive seen a few nice fits with 18's on them but I would like to get them all together so I can check them out.....Im really wanting to stuff a set under my fit but im still not sure if they just dont look TO big, so please post pics if you have 18's...thanks!

and please....I know that people prefer 15's,16's...and even a few 17 lovers...but please only post if you have some knowledge of 18' wheels.

IMO, 18's would look way too big, not too mention would be too heavy on FITs. 16's are the perfect size/weight.

Try looking at a Yaris with 18's. Personally, it makes me laugh. 18's on a FIT, same deal.

I agree totally. 18"s on the Fit is ridiculous, they add to much weight and dont look good. 16"s are perfect, they look really great on the Fit.

That looks really bad IMO, it would look even more hideous in real life. If you want over sized wheels get a SUV.

Damn! You beat me to it!

Anyways, I think most of us here on the forum believe 18's are too big for the Fit. 17's are pushing it (my previous set was 17's, chrome lip made them look smaller), but like everyone has already said, 16's are optimal for looks/performance. If you want looks, 17's is as big as I would go and performance, stick to 15's.

i think it just depends on what wheel it is...ive seen a yaris with 18 trd wheels on it and i thought it looked good...ive got an xb with 19's on it and it looks perfect to me...and it didnt hurt my "performance" at all...not that an xb or a fit have any preformance value...anyway the fit is driven by my girl so ill probably stick with some 17's with a little more sidewall....but she did trade in an element for it that was on 20's with a 35 series tire so I guess we are just used to big wheels. I thought buying 15 inch wheels went out back when they stopped making "saw blades".
