Polished vs Chrome

Polished vs Chrome
Hey guys,
I'm getting ready to buy a set of new wheels that are either 'polished' or 'Chrome'.
From photos, I do not see a lot of difference in the look of them, so my question is this: Which is more durable/longer lasting and easier to care for?
Thank you for helping!

Luxury, it's a complicated question and the answer depends on what YOU like and how much time YOU are prepared to put into upkeep.
CHROME:
PRO'S - Easier to care for out of the box. At the end of the week when they get dirty, spray some simple green and water on them and you're back in business.
CONS - You get a nick or scratch in them, there's not much you can do for them.
Polished:
PRO'S - Some people prefer this finish over chrome. They claim it is a deeper shine and with enough elbow grease, you can get them to outshine chrome. If you get a nick or scratch on them and you can usually polish it out with a little work or a 'power ball' or something. They also have different polishes and seals that maintain the shine for up to 12 months.
CONS - There is a certain amount of upkeep involved. You have to stay on top of it or they get dull. The polish is messy, gets your fingers black and takes time to get a good shine.
I've had both types on my custom motorcycle and I've had polished wheels sent out to be chromed. I prefer the chrome because like the commercial says, "I wann ride" (not clean)...sorry to write a book but I hope this helps.
LDO out!
