14" Rims Tire Size

If I wanted to keep my stock 14" rims, currently running 175/65R14 Yokohamas, what sizes would you recommend?

Specification Sidewall Radius Diameter Difference
175/65-14 4.5in 11.5in 23.0in 0.0%
185/60-14 4.4in 11.4in 22.7in -0.9%
195/60-14 4.6in 11.6in 23.2in 1.1%
195/55-14 4.2in 11.2in 22.4in -2.2%
205/55-14 4.4in 11.4in 22.9in -0.3%

Alrighty... well, this message sucked - nobody answered!

Let me try again. I understand that nobody's really interested in 14" rims, but they came stock on my Jazz: they are light alloys and actually pretty good, so I don't want to swap them for something heavier that will slow me down.

But the tires I can improve on... anybody with a suggestion for size? They are 14x6JJ.

The 185/65R14s are quite similar, about 1/2 inch higher than my stock ones now, and 1cm wider, so I suppose the ride is pretty much the same.

The 205/60R14s are also just over 1/2" higher but much wider, 3 cm wider. How did they feel on road, especially curves?

Where I live there's almost no intersections - all roundabouts (traffic circles).

Did you lose acceleration or is the 1/2" gain in height not felt?

The reason why I picked 205/60's was only because I like wider tires. (now running 195/50/15's. Eww) The tires I had were Sumitumos HTR H4's. The car didnt handle well but it wasnt bad. Of course it was due to the size of the sidewall and the tires were all seasons.

Street ride was great of course. Bumps were absorbed with ease and no road noise.

Good tire sizes are hard to find in 14's. I was looking for 225's in 14's. All I could find were either drag radials or AutoX tires.

That looks very nice with the yellow rims! The high sidewall actually helps fill the fender nicely, IMO - you have it lowered by how much in that pic?

I dont know the drop. Its lowered on T1R V1 springs. When I used the tire calulator 205/60's were correct for the speedometer.
