Anyone have any experience with these wheels? I'd like to run the 17x7.0 with 205/40/17's. Just curious if it'll rub with Tanabe springs. Looking at about a 1.5" drop. Thanks.

Also, anyone know of a place in Socal that does wheel powdercoating?

Yeah, I noticed he was running them, but then once I saw he was banned I figured I should just ask around.

I may actually go with a 16" and 205/45's instead. Dunno, still doing a bit more reading before I make any plans.

if u have the right offset with the right tire size u wont rub. im on df210s with 195 50 15 rims are 15x6.5 45+ offset. i dont rub on hard dips or turns or with passengers. if i go 205 50 15 i will rub on hard dips or with passengers. i think it rubs on the outter screw that holds the fender lining. u can research it or ask some of the wheel gurus on this forum.

I have that wheel in the SBC finish, 17x7 +43 w/205-40 RT615s, Skunk2 springs and no rubbing what so ever. Not even full tank of gas and my full size spare RPF1 in the back.....

Thanks for the info. I did a bit more research. I've settled on a set of Gramlights. I had a set a few years ago on my 240 and loved em. A bit pricey, but worth it on the track. 16x6.5 +45 with 205/45/16 tires.
