Falken Hanabi

Hello all, I have yet another wheel question.

We are looking at the 17 x 7.5" +42 Falken Hanabi's, We are planning on running 205/40/17s. And the fit is lowered on df210's.

Anybody running a similar setup? I am having a hard time finding fits with 17"s, any pics for reference?

Thanks guys and gals!

Dustin

I think you may run into rubbing trouble with the DF210's using that offset & tire combo. The Falkens will be better than most, but I know even with just the GF210's you will have some minor rubs when loaded, bumps and hard cornering. If you can find a set of rims with a +45 offset you might save yourself some grief.

This is my ride, I am using the GF210's and running RTX 17's with a +45 offset and Continental ContiSportContact™ 2 - 195/40R17's. I had to ditch the 205's I was running before because they rubbed with this setup.

Wow, rubbed with the 205's on a +45 wheel huh? Thats bad news. Where did you get your window visors from? They look like the same style that is on my xB.

Anyone else got some stats to chime in with? Thanks for the pic by the way!

Most likely going to rub. I was running gram light 57s 17x7.5 +40 offset, 205/ 40/17 tires. Rubbed real easy on T1R lowering springs. DF210 is an even bigger drop isn't it?

its supposed to be a little bigger drop, but our fit doesnt look as low as others with these springs for some reason.

The wheels were shpped today, so i think i will be getting them probably tuesday so well see what happens. ill try to get pics as soon as possible.

Dustin.

well the wheels are in and they are on. very minor rubbing in the rear, spent about 15 minutes rolling fenders and solved it.

we will get pictures on as soon as we can.

I'd love to see some pics - what's the rub situation with the car loaded?

How's the ride?

That drop looks great, exactly what I plan to do. This is a total noob question but how exactly do you roll your fenders? I ask because I have 17x7 40+ with 205 40's and I know I'm going to rub with any kind of drop.
