So i've been having this issue. I need to know if i run a 16x7 +40 offset with 205/45/16.... WILL I HAVE TIRE RUB!! im planning on lowering the fit with either EIBACH pro lowering springs or T1R lowering springs!.. PLEASE REPLY!!!

With this setup you should have a minimal amount of rubbing. Look under the fender and find where it is rubbing and reduce the size of that area (either roll the fenders or remove liner), whatever the cause maybe investigate. If you don't want to do either you can go to a 195/45/16 or a 205/40/16. If you had a higher offset wheel you could probably get away with the same size tire.

RE01-R is a AWESOME tire... It would be the tire I run on the S2000 if it wasnt $300 a tire! I also wish the life of the tire was a little longer. Should be OK with those tire... minor rubbing.
