Yes I have rota's on the fit, they 16x7 with 195/50 rubber. they rub on hard corners or with 2 or more people in the car. I cant understand people saying that have zero rubbing issues because, they must weigh 100lbs and only drive by themselves...

Ya as far as rubbing I have no issues and from the pic you can see just how low the car is sitting. I thing maybe if I loosen up the dampening on the coilovers the car would have more roll and then rubb and thats from living in the mountains and really curvy roads!~

Fifteens will have the best ride quality. Seventeens will look def. Sixteen will result somewhere in between. The larger the wheel, the more you have to pay attention to offset and the pickings get slim to choose from.

Some will say a little different, but at least 45mm for a 16 inch and your safe. Seventeen, I'm not sure but I would say even more.

The stock 15 inch wheel has a 55mm offset. The lower the number, chances are it will rub the fender/quarter panel.

There are wheel companies that say their wheel will work when in fact they haven't tried it themselves. Do your searching under the "Fit Shoes" part of the forums and good luck.

IForged-custom built wheels:

Hey all,

I have been racking my brain for the last 2-weeks trying to figure out what wheels to get for my Fit! I recently took delivery of my Sport model(auto/tw) on Mothers Day, and absolutely love this car. I'm looking into having a set of custom built wheels made from IForged. iForged Performance Wheels - The next generation in forging technology

Anyways, Vince at IForged said that I can have a set of 17x7's made to fit the Fit. My question is, what offsets would be ideal for front and rear? I mean, if these wheels are going to be custom built to my specs, I was hoping some of you could tell me what would be the best set-up. Let me also mention that I do plan on running the Tanabe DF210 springs(possibly the GF210 as well-but still wanting the lower look). I have heard that a +42 would probably work for the 17x7, but people were saying that there was rubbing issues as well, mainly in the rear though? So maybe +42 for the fronts, and maybe +38 for the rear? I'm not sure...that's why I need your help, and any help will be much appreciated! Thanks.

Btw, here's a pic of my other vehicle with 22" IForged "Rev" wheels.

that tacoma looks sweet! btw, if youre getting wheels done by your specs, just settle things down on what you want. If you want a lip on your wheels, the lowest offset on a 17x7 should be +42. you still could run lower offsets(deeper lips) but will have to do many mods to not screw up something. If you really dont care about the lip, go crazy and have a +45-+47 offset so no rubbing occurs while dropped. Although, lower offsets do not mean more "deep dish" wheels, but a crazy style that has the spoke design close to the center of the wheel. +38 17'' in the rear will rub, if you dont roll the fenders.

I appreciate the info! Yeah...I definitely love, and prefer the looks of a "deep dish", but obviously on this car, I dont think that there is going to much of one. I would also love to run a staggered set-up, but once again, don't know if that's going to be possible without any rubbing issues. Basically what I want to do is: Lower the car, throw the wheels and tires on(with the biggest lip possible), and not really have to modify a lot to make sure things don't rub(Hence the reason for finding the perfect offset). I don't have any problems with rolling the fenders, so if I have to do that, I will. Do you think that the rear wheels should have the same offset as the fronts? I'm just trying to find the "happy medium" between a sweet set of wheels with as much lip as possible, and not a lot of rubbing issues by doing so. I'm also thinking about picking up a set of Gram Lights 57 maximum, if I decide not to go with the IForged. I know that there's really no lip on these, but I like the way they look as well.

Thanks again!

Damn, I've gotta say that is one of the sickest Tacomas I've ever seen. Actually, it IS the sickest one I've ever seen. Nothing like that around this area. NICELY done.
