Potential Fit Buyer: Will these snows fit?
Bride has Mazda 3 Sport (17" std) and looking to buy Fit Sport (since must have cruise control and apparently not available on other models?). Her existing snows (almost new) are on 16x6.5 rims with 205/55's.
Not aggressive drivers but can we expect rubbing on sharp turning radius?

Excessive tire wear
I thought I had posted on this already, but I cant find it, so sorry if this is redundant. I have 8100 miles on my Fit and the front tires have only 3/32 tread left. I dont push the car, of course cant break em loose (its auto) and very rarely have a case of understeer with heavy cornering. I called Honda and they said that the Dunlops do not have a warranty and since it is not a Honda product they are not responsible. Ironically enough the OEM tire warranty that was thrown in with my info packet is for Bridgestone. Long story short, after fighting with corporate Goodyear (they own Dunlop) they will prorate my tires. Now, the next issue. Because of the steel worker strike (I wasnt aware of one) the exact replacement they claim will be months. So I am making them upgrade to a better tire (with of course more $ responsibility on my part). I know this is rambling, but with 8k on a car, I didnt expect to toss $75 into tires. (I know I can get aftermarket through discounttiredirect.com or this sites sponser tirerack.com for only $25 more.) I fully plan to get tires with a denser compound after these wear out. My question is do any of you others have similar issues with premature wear, or is just my car. Its important to note that the rear tires have 85% tread left. Let me know what you think.

I've got 11,000 miles in 6 months with no noticeable wear. I'll just run them to about 20k, and then put them on the back and run at least 20k more.
PS-My sister-in-law got a Fit in October and blew a tire on road hazard on the second day. Completely destroyed the tire. It was tough to get an OEM Dunlop replacement but the Honda dealer got one in about 3 days.
