If you all liked the stretched look (Me = Hate it) just buy those crappy Falken 512's. They look stretched no matter what size you buy. Im bet most/all of those pics above are Falken tires.

Albert, car looks great on those wheels.

Dude bro you have no idea how tired i was haha

i left SF on friday at 8pm, got to LA at 3:30am, slept
woke up on saturday at 10am, went out with friends, got home at 8pm, went to riverside to visit friends
got home at 2am and i had to go to the show at 6am to setup, so i figured, **** it, i dont wanna sleep, plus i gotta wash the car

so i washed it then went straight to the meet, and i slept inside the car most of the time, and i walked around once, i went around the fits in the back but there was like 1 or 2 guys there inside there cars haha, i was like where'd everyone go?!, but i saw your car there man, everyone looked good, i was just too damn tired to do anything

so i left at 2:45 and drove straight back to SF, then i got a phone call from my sister that i need to move my civic out of her garage cause she got some crap to put in there, so i had to go to sacramento, and then drive back to SF, oh man was i beat

That would be called VIP-style. In VW talk it would be called "poke".

vipstylecars.com will have more info.

did you have to modify your fenders to get those wheels to fit?

I rolled the rear fenders but that was it, even if i didn't roll it, it wouldn't have mattered since these wheels extend beyond the lip of the fenders

I just folded the rear lip in, it wont make a difference if you do or not on a wide wheel, but I did it for my Volk CE28n's which were 15x7 +35, and sat right under the lip

There is no room for suspension travel in that car. It appears to be a Jetta (could be wrong), which has a suspension much like the fit's rear suspension. The wheel will traval straight up and down and WILL rub. That would be wheel on fender. Bye Bye paint.

And that is my black GTI. They were 245mm on a 18x10 rear wheel with +10 offset when it was all said and done.

EDIT: And that was my first post. I own the GTI and an ITR and like to lurk. Hello all.

so...when people complain about 15x7 + 35 offset on a fit is the fitment on the front rubbing or rear?

I looked at the way the wheels are if you use 15x7 + 35 you shouldn't have much of a problem on the front or rear but then I could be wrong.

I'm trying 15x7 +24 front, and 15x8 + 24 rear today or tomorrow. We'll see how that turns out. I borrowed a fender roller for my car when i start to roll the fenders.

The rear will only ned minor rolling of the fender lip to make it fit, but the obstruction looks more like the bolt holding the rear bumper is the culprite.

For the front the wheel liner bolt was a problem, but then I took the top most one off already and I don't rub on a set of 15x6 + 35 offset (with stock 195/55/15 tires). So if I roll the lip and cut out the liner it should fit without too much body modifications.

I've delt with my wide wheel, fender/frame/qtr panel/ suspension modifications in my time. Try fitting a 15x9.5 -38 offet front, and 15x10 -43 rear wheel on a car.

yeah thats part everyone rubs (most people cut that out, then after roll it over it). you might need to find a way to unbolt it, and some how tie up the bumper so it wont sag.

but see too much work for the average person.

JBlood hood and new wheels, eh? What kind are they? For some reason, I keep thinking JLine but I highly doubt that, haha. Only 86 I knew that even came close to such a crazy body kit was the TRD wide body. He then sold it to Papa Gush and they just took off the kit and well... that was that.

Yea once our shop clears out some, we're planning on putting my Fit up on the lift to see if we can remove and relocate that bolt. After that I don't see any problem of being slammed on a low offset.
