What 15's fit on our Fits?
I need help deciding on some new rims for my Fit... I have read many posts and I can't seem to grasp what or how the offset issues affect our cars?!
I am looking at a few different sets of wheels.. most of them at 15x7, but there is one set.. The Axis Oldskool, these rims looks really nice cause they have a 3" lip! They spec them at 15x8, but they don't say what the offset is.. I've seen them on older civics and what not..
check them out at this site: Axis Wheels - Staggered wheels, Axis Oldskool, Axis Gravity, Shine, Axis Hiro, Axis Reverb, Axis Penta and Matrix. 15 inch Scion wheels, Staggered wheels for 350Z, Infiniti G35, BMW 5 series.
I guess the question I am asking is.. what problems could I have if I got these 15x8 wheels and did a GF210 Tanabe drop?

If you install 15x8's on a lowered fit it will definetly rub. I beleive the widest you can go is 7 inch's wide, and even with that size people still have some rubbing issues. Now thats with out modification to the fenders and such. Not saying it wouldn't work, but it's not like you could just get the rims and throw them on. You will have to make modifications to get this size wheel to fit correctly. This size wheel would look real sick on a fit and would also improve the handling dramaticly if you could get them to fit right.
