Rota Slipstreams....

Im planning on getting a sit of 16" gunmetal w/ polished lip Rota Slipstreams.. Or the Flat black ones...

Any recommendation on tire size? Tirerack says Size: 205/45ZR16 is the recomended size...

Also which tires would be good? these will most likely be all season.. OR I might keep my stock 15" alloys for winter...

I will also like a LITTLE drop just to help with the handling a bit and the wheel gap..Thanks

then go for a progressive spring like the Eibach ProKit or Swift Springs. Under normal driving conditions they are a little firmer than stock but under load you can really feel them stiffen up the car.

So which ones are you gonna go with? The Slips or the Motegis?

well just think about the wheel weights and such. Putting on a heavier wheel will actually hinder performance of your car and cause you to lose gas mileage.

just something else to think about.

If you go with nippon racing, they look identical to slips and weigh a little lighter and come in different offsets. I had them at +38 and it was perfect. I never heard rubbing once even with people in the back.

looking at the Nippon racing ebay adds it looks like they are actually a few pounds heavier than the Rotas.

If you use 205/45-16 from tirerack.com then
For best performance-
Goodyear Eagle F1 GS-D3 Max Performance Summer tire for $133 each.
280 treadwear AA traction W speed rated

For best bang per buck-
General Exclaim UHP (Ultra High Performance Summer tire) for $62 each
380 treadwear AA traction W speed rated

If needing all season tires (dry or wet conditions or mild light snow or longer wear and more comfort with good performance)
Then
Pirelli P Zero Nero M&S Ultra High Performance All Season tires $86 each
400 treadwear AA traction W speed rated
or
Kumho Ecsta ASX ultra High Performance All Season tires for $67 each
420 treadwear AA traction W speed rated
Test comparing ASX with P Zero nero-
Taking Aim at the Ultra High Performance All-Season Tire

Beautiful, Thanks!! I'll be getting the Kumho's!! hehe. GOod price!
So far it seems like i'll be getting the 16x7 4x100 +45offset Rota Slipstream in gunmetal with polished lip.. I will put them on my car first... see how i like it.. and how big the gap is.. and decide on if i should lower it or not... Remember keep in mind this is my daily driver.....I dont want the harsh ride... IF I was to lower it.. I think I had my eyes on the Tanabe gf210's... I heard it gives just a little drop, but enough to reduce the wheel gap and its progressive springs...

I too just ordered a set of 16x7 flat black slipstreams. I got the +45mm offset with 205/45/16 General Exclaim Tires. I dont plan on lowering my car any time soon - too many potholes and steep driveways and curbs around here. I plan on posting pics in the next 2 weeks when the wheels arrive.
