Ah, I see - I was looking at the site racinglap.com, you were looking at racinglab.com. They just have the average rim weight. It does not seem like they have actual specs on the wheel on that site.

There are lots of sites that sell Rotas. If you're a Honda-Tech member, there are great vendors on there selling rota wheels. Also machiii.net is a great place to check out wheels, jaydm.com too.

As for the wheel weight, I've searched and come up w/ less that 14pounds for the 16x7. I'll be getting my slips in tuesday so I can weigh them. The tracking # on my slips show 16.1 pounds for the PACKAGE of one wheel + box and packaging, so it should be less than 16lb definately. I don't have a digital scale but I'll try my best.

Do people buy Slip because of it's weight because I find out that Boost looks nicer.

Rota may not be "real" as in ORIGINAL wheels but he was asking in real ROTA wheels as in actual Rota branded, in which what he was looking for. We know about the actual authentic brands, but I opted to go cheaper, to each their own.

does anyone know of any websites offering rota rims w/tires packages, i know i could just buy the rims then the tires but getting them both at the same time is awfully convenient.

the best place to buy rotas or konigs is jlbmotorsports.com.

great customer service, and the best prices.

man i sound like they pay me! but seriously, they are really cool dudes and i've not seen any rota wheel cheaper if it wasn't from them. i think the slips are like 450 SHIPPED. they can do tire packages too.

If we are looking for the lightest wheel with proven performance then the
VOLK CE28N's are the ticket...weight around 8 pounds per wheel. I believe KINGMOTORSPORTS.COM has them for 430 ish a wheel....well worth it!!!
Here is King's description;

*The Volk Racing CE28N is the next generation of high performance street/sport from RAYS Engineering. The design is similar to very popular, but discontinued, Mugen MF series wheels with elegantly curved spokes. These wheels are very light and very strong. Perfect for both street and racing use*

strong and light, not to keen on the style though. but even if they were a design that i loved...i dunno about 430 a wheel. that is a LOT of money, and at that rate, bbs would be getting my buisness.

if your not autocrossing...meh, its not all that necessary. still baller though.
