Pedal Question

Hi everyone, as a brand new owner of a Fit and with no experience with jdm mods (although I've been an avid admirer for 10 years), I'm a huge noooooooob to upgrading my car.

I'm sure you'll hear from me plenty in the coming months as I educate myself and attempt a few DIY projects. I'm starting small, though. Verrrrry small....

So here's my first question: I covet these pedals

But I have an automatic transmission.... Is the pedal installation exactly the same for MT and AT? Can I buy these pedals and just use the gas and brake in my AT Fit?

Thanks in advance for your help!

gas would probably work but the MT brake pedal is smaller than the AT brake pedal.

So it depends if these are replacements of the actual pedals or if they just go on top of the existing pedals. If they are replacements, I'm not sure. I've never seen the AT pedal before. They do look like replacements that you have to drill through your existing pedal.... but..

If they just go on top of the pedal, the hardware will not be made for it. You can probably find new hardware/ modify it to work. Only thing is that, because the MT pedal is so much smaller, a lot of the AT pedal will still be visible.

Thanks! I'll just stick with AT pedals, and find something I like.
