Tanabe GF210 Installed!!
Just installed my Tanabe GF210s. Install went smooth and was surpringly easy. It ended up only taking me about an hour and half to do all 4 corners by myself. I just wanted to thank everyone on the site who has posted a DIY or answered a question I have posted prior to doing this install.
I'm extremely happy with the GF210s so far. Admittedly I haven't had a lot of highway time with them. The ride seems to be a bit stiffer but not to the point of being obnoxious. I'm currently rolling on 16x7 inch rims with an offset of 42. No rubs unless I hit a dip in the road at a high rate of speed. Springs haven't settled yet but the stance is perfect in my opinion.
Here are a few photos of the results:

Haven't noticed any real settling so far. There is some rubbing over sharp bumps and dips in the road, nothing too extreme. Under normal highway/road conditions there is absolutely no rubbing. My tires are 205/50r16. I think that once I get some 205/45s I won't have any rubbing at all.

meh...usually for me anything not withing the stock specs(ie 45 series for 16" rims and 55 series for 15" rims) look too small and makes the drop look nasty. becuase there is more of a wheel gap.

195/50/15 looks very good imho... 55's are kinda getting towards
the balloon look. plus smaller diameter for better gearing for
acceleration.. (sure why not..)

i posted a thread about those very rims and if they would rub! i guess not! its the tires thats probably doing it, move to the 45's and you'll be golden.
josh i'm in salisbury, we had a meet not to long ago in concord, you should come around to represent sometime! the car looks great!

I would recommend an allignment on the front after a drop. It may be imagined, but I think it helped a bit with rubbing, plus you don't want your tires to wear excessively on the inner edge. At any rate, the rubbing is only noticed whenever I hit a sharp dip or bump in the road. I think that once i get a 45 sidewall there will be no rubbing at all.
I had no idea there were any Honda Fit meets around here, otherwise I would attend. I've done several new things to the car since these pictures were taken. I just put a Pioneer AVIC-D3 in last week.
