i have swift springs as well. its worth the price for its performance and comfort. it rubs a little big on the back but im on 17 inch wheels with 40 series tires and i also have a one inch spacer because i have the wide body kit. are you sure the offset of your wheels is right for the fit? or maybe you're using too high a series tire. if you look i posted my fit and im not dropped that much

I'm using the stock tire.
Please tell me what spacers you used???
As I'm rubbing everywhere as the springs settle.
Did you see Swift now changed their advertized drop on these springs!!!

i used 1 inch spacers but it wont work for you cause it'll stick out too much. as i previously stated i have a wide boy so its flush for me. and make sure the offset on your new wheels isnt the problem.

So do these drop more than Skunk 2 springs? Are they stiffer than Skunk 2?

Jimmy,

It seemed like you are rubbing against the fender liner so you just trim it with a cutter and the sound will go away.

any camber issues, im used to my 97 teg, lowering means camber issues, thats why i havent ordered any springs yet, i dont wanna have to buy camber adustments( bolts or whole kits) i am leaning towards skunk2, or these swift ones. so how is ur camber, did u get anything to adjust camber to near stock other that a wheel alignment?

I got my kit from ebay.
Besure you got the redesigned kit!
Those photos are from the original swift kit.
I think they just imported the JDM kit, and then
we all found out our fits are heavier, and then
diameter of the spring caused rubbing.
So get the new kits, they claim they have fixed
these problems. Besure to take measures before and after
installation to see how much they really drop.

When I do get around to installing my new swift springs, I will post photos and alignment report.

Please post up pics of the new springs. I'd like to get a minimal drop springs and since H&R won't have OE springs the Swift springs will be the ones I get. But I do want to make sure it won't sag and stays at 1.2/1.0" drop. And how do we know if we get the revised springs.

i seriously doubt you can achieve factory-like ride with just springs
especially at that height. it's too low unless you get dampers.

that looks lower than where my DF210's were.

but looks good though.

from what i gathered in this thread - the older version of these springs would be a 1.2" drop on a JDM fit. for the USDM fit, it's more like a 2" drop. the redesigned springs now available should be correct (1.2" drop) for USDM fits.

So anyone know how to tell the old version from the new? I'm waiting to buy a set of used Swift springs but want to make sure I don't get the old ones that drop this much.

make sure your deaker or supplier orders them from the american div in CA. and they only have in stock the american one which is the correct spring rate for the car now

I'm still confused to how people rub? My fit is dumped....and when I mean dumped the front is on the freaking ground. Maybe its the offset on your rims I guess. I'm still on stockers at the moment but I'm tucking half the tire
