Tokico HTS / D-Spec Feedback

LOL Well personally I am still hoping more people get turned on to these. I haven't been driving my Fit for the last week or so, and when I jumped into it this morning the ride and grip got me completely excited to own a Fit again

No, the HTS struts being identical in length to the OEM struts, will not affect ride height.

No idea - I tried to find out before I actually bought the HTS's, but Tokico's website says exactly zero about the duration of the sale. I'm guessing they're trying to dump inventory and the sale will last until they move a certain number of units. Not very helpful, I know, sorry. Good luck.

Just an update. I raced a few weekends back in the last autocross of the season here. It was pissing down rain, but I went full hard all around and was floored by the transformation these have made. Out of 38 racers I placed 12th, and I was second in the street modified class (my best run was 71.77 and 1st place was 71.58 [in SM]). Even on my daily setting of 4.5, these things handle like a dream. Buy them. Buy them now.

are you still on stock springs, Dustin? also, congratulations, and, out of curiousity, how much difference do the b-pipe and exhaust make, do you think? oh, and did you have them before the supercharger - if so, same question...

I am still on stock springs. The axle back exhaust didn't really do anything, I was very surprised by how quiet it was as well. The B-Pipe certainly made the exhaust louder (but still not intrusive), but I can't say I really noticed any kind of performance increase. With the kraftwerks kit now I'm sure the larger B-pipe and the axle back exhaust is helping.

Does Tokico really not make anything for GEs? This doesn't seem right to me but I checked their website for both HTS (adjustable) and the blue ones that offer OEM+5-15% stiffness (yes they have a name but I closed the window).
#32
Yeah, I just double-checked their site. When you do a vehicle-based search, the GE isn't even an option.

Well that especially sucks because supposedly Tokico is the supplier of stock shocks so they fit properly. Well, maybe they were only the supplier on the GD, I can't back up the statement beyond, "I read it today."
I really just want something a little stiffer than stock, with the same length (obviously) and good quality, doesn't really need to be adjustable ... annoyed that the 2012 got looser shocks than the 2011 ...

If you want shocks stiffer than the revised (or we are assuming here on FF.net) 2012 shocks you could pick up the KYB Excel-Gs, they were designed when the 09 and 10 were out so i'm sure they're a little stiffer than the OEM 2012 if they are indeed softer now than before.

Thanks Wanderer! I wouldn't be surprised if they get around to it. One day
It's too bad there's no way of measuring one shock's damping power against another. Something like spring rates for springs. That way you could, you know, choose a 3.8 instead of a 3.8 (stock) damping rate. But that isn't the case as far as I can see. Instead you just have a bunch of people claiming their shocks are x% stiffer than stock, a bunch of people testing them with their butt dyno, and then eventually people who have already wasted hundreds on other shocks buy adjustable ones so they can just dial in their preferred without wasting even more money

I emailed them last week asking about inventory and the sale. They said that there's really no end to the sale, just when they go out stock. Regarding the Fit part# TOHTS509, he said that there were 4 sets left. I just jumped on a set today so there are now 3 or less. Can't beat a $1,007 discount! Now I just have to track down some Swift springs...
