I guess not. I don't even know the brand. Where are they made? I'd buy if it was US of 'Merica. Or I'll just wait for my Bilsteins that's en route from Deutschland. Only 1 1/2 more weeks...

Built in 'Merica you say? Now I'm definitely interested.

I don't know if I can wait any longer for the Bilsteins to come. I was going to pull the trigger on Buddy Club N+'s a few days ago but I heard they we're made in Taiwan. Did more research about them and I've read reviews on here with problems and hearing noises on the coils after installation. Not a good sign. So I'm gonna back off on the Buddy Clubs.

I'm ready to buy if these are quality coilovers. I just don't know the brand. So who's the person to talk to about these Fortune Auto Coilovers? I'm ready like right MEEEEEEOOOOOOOWWWW!

Thanks for the information. Good stuff.

Looking gooooooooood. The Nissan crowd loves them huh? Fair enough. I think I'm going to have to get a bit more research... Maybe I might be the first few people to run their set up for the GE8's.

I've done enough snooping around and I'm pretty dang serious about these coilovers now.

Just contacted Fortune Auto and talked to one of their professionals (I forgot his fricken' name, maybe it was Gary?). It just so happens that they are in the process of installing their new Gen IV 500 coilovers on an 09 Honda Fit as we speak. They just got a test car today to try their goodies on the GE8 platform.

Here's a few questions I had asked:

Qo you offer custom spring rates?
A:Yes

Q: What spring rates would you recommend for a daily driver car?
A: Still in process of figuring it out.

Q: What's the lowest drop the coilovers can give?
A: Still in process of figuring it out.

So far, little answers can be answered for the GE8 platform. But he did tell me to call them back later today to figure out how low the drop can be after they finish installing them. And he also said to call tomorrow for a possible report on their findings about the "recommended" spring rates for the GE8.

I guess more waiting. I want coilovers right meow. ...

I am very sad about this situation. Terry from fortune auto is actually towing my fit back to me tomorrow about 1.5 hour drive so they are great people. I really wanted these coilovers! 8 weeks of waiting to see if they can make it work but it jus wasn't ment to be. They told me itd work but it jus didn't looks safe an they couldn't do it. Hopefully some day they'll have it figured out for Honda fits

maybe they slowly realized that they'll probably just sell a set or two at best and they'll lose money than gain in the process.

harsh? but in the FIT community... it is what it is...
