Fit meets the Circuit

Hi all,

I think I might be the first the only one who has brought the Fit to the track to do some serious lapping I was well prepared so suspension and brakes were ready or this event held by Definitive Driving club

My impressions : The car handles extremely well, I can out brake a lot of faster cars before turning in. I also notice that the Fit can carrya lot of cornering speed so I have been trail braking in to turns in order to keep the car at higher speed so that i can have faster exiting speed since the car is awfully SLOW (bone stock engine) with a J's Racing axle-back muffler only.

Here are the Foot work that I have done to the Fit :
T1R B-max coil-overs (front 6k rear 6k)
J's Racing Strut bar (front and rear)
J's Racing C-pillar bar
J's Racing Monocoque bar
J's Racing Roll center adjuster (I will have a write up for them later)
Spoon 4 piston calipers
J's Racing N1 500 brake pads
AJR custom rotors
MOTUL RBF600 brake fluid
ADVAN RG2 wheels 17x7.5
Falken RT615 tires

Here are some pics that I have been struggling with some faster cars

-I am not any faster then any of these S2000s but they just let me pass because I was pressuring them thru turns

You can find more pics at www.definitivedriving.com

Enjoy

You're our hero!
What track is that? It looks awfully familiar...
(never mind, I clicked the linky and I was right, you're trying to squeeze everything out of turns 8 & 9 to get up the speed on the straight! Been there done that! Go Fit Go!)

Maybe you can answer the question I've got: Why do drift cars have reverse lettering on the right side? (I'm from the ancient land of vintage racing and your new fangled world perplexes me...)

Very nice car and very good mods.
I was running in a circuit with my 1.3 and a peugeot rallye 1.3(100hp) couldn't pass me.
And my jazz is normal.
Honda jazz is a simply racing car.

You should join Tracking the car is fun but at the same time, I am testing the T1R suspension with some alignment settings. The Fit definitely is a good platform and better suspension and brakes, results and laptimes amazed a lot of other drivers there.

Question

So what is the deal with the reverse lettering on the right side of the car? I feel like a noob asking but ---huh? (So the guy in front of you can read your sponsors' names in the rear view mirror?) Anybody?

Cost for mods

Just curious, how much have you spent on all of your mods?
