Progress RSB hands down it makes a world of difference! no questions about it... srsly i'm pretty sure everyone will agree with me, what would be interesting is knowing about the best front and rear strut bars (but i don't mean to highjack your thread ) BTW do you have a GD(07-08) or GE (09-up)? cuz the GE already has one...

My car is an 09 base model.
So this model already has a stock rear sway bar?
what about cusco rear sway bar they say its better than progress or ultra racing

what about the strut bar F/R what can u recommend? for an 09 base

thanks

*my previous car was an '08 yaris sedan' i had a trd rear sway and it handled real GOOD
thats why i wanted one for the fit*

well i don't know about Cusco, but progress just adds one so you have two RSB... and it's extremely simple to install! BTW maybe i have'nt insisted enough, but the progress rsb is LEGENDARY for the GD it's the best bang for the buck hands down!

as for the strut bar, i think the safest betis j's racing, they have very high quality products for the Fit, as for cusco, i've never been a fan, but that's only personal taste... SHG_mike (very knowledgeable member)did mention in the racing forums that cusco is mostly dress-up... If you don't want to pay too much, i like Tanabe's philosophy tough...

no disrepect meant, but it always depends on what your needs are... If you're going to push your car to it's limits, strut bars will certainly help you! as for DD indeed there are good chances that they won't make much of a difference... what are your experiences with strut bars to say that they're worthless???

strut bars are just a placebo item.

i have a rear j's racing strutbar and its great for tying grocery bags to after i go shopping. not much else. i have a c pillar bar and it's only use is hanging up clothes when i go the dry cleaner.

a progress rear swaybar actually benefits handling and driving feel.

if i get progress and i get a coilover or eibach prokit... i hear the progress rear sway bar would interfere with the coilover or eibach prokit fitment is it true?

on the other tread they say that if you dont want to have any problems
with fitment you also have to get a progress springs???

my car is 09 base.

its not about interference, its because people prefer the back to be more loose, the coilovers provide a stiff setup enough...

I would buy the coilovers first. You may find that you don't need the sway bar depending on how the handling balances out with the coilovers.

get the swaybar. it is by far, the best bang for the buck as far as honda fit handling enhancements are concerned

depends on your setup. i have a progress swaybar and skunk2 coilovers and have no issues with rubbing. and even when i had skunk2 lowering springs, it isnt that serious. its just a little rubbing when id go into a parking lot at an extreme angle.
