Underbrace install

I'm trying to install the under brace i got from tanabe... like this one...

Tanabe USA Inc. - Sustec Under Brace

Before I go ahead, I went on to search some DIY. But failed. I know I have to take off the plastic piece under there. I also read the A-arm part. Are the bolts on the A-arm torqued to certain lbs? And when putting them back on do I have to re-torque them in, including the under brace...

thanks

Pretty straight foward install.
Remove only the two front A arm bolts, line up the underbrace with the hole, and torque to 51 ft.lb. I recommend you use a washer on the bolts before torquing down as the tanabe underbrace is made of soft aluminum. And make sure you have the wheels on the ground before tightening to pre-load the suspension.

Okay great... but one question. how exactly can you have the wheels on the ground and be under the car at the same time. Don't know, but I'm not a skinny person lol... and there's no way I'll fit under there lol

Use ramps or blocks under the front tires.

use a drive-on lift to get under it n still have pre-load. or raise the car up n have the wheels on something...dunno what'd be safe tbh, maybe 4 ramps or blocks with jackstands underneath the frame just in case?

There are certain lifters that lift the car by the wheels on metal planks, so spring pre-load is maintained. The wheel alignment place I go to has them.

Agreed on the drive-on ramps as well.
